Butterfly Elegance

Two monarchs rest among fine golden blossoms, their orange wings set against muted teal and green. Crisp wing patterns contrast with the softer background, giving the delicate subjects a clear presence. Warm colour and lightly branching stems hold the composition together without disturbing its stillness.

A sunny patch of flowers offers butterflies both fuel and warmth. Nectar supplies energy, while sheltered places to bask help them reach the body temperature needed for flight. This connection between blossoms, light and shelter explains why a small flowering corner can become a busy gathering place, even when a butterfly resting on a stem seems perfectly still.

Printed on 230gsm smooth matte archival-quality paper, with a smooth, non-glossy finish.

Pigment-based, UV-stable archival inks reproduce the colours and fine details of the original digital artwork. Each giclée print is produced in New Zealand.
