The number of trees funded will depend on the size of the print you choose, as well as whether it was created in collaboration with another party. Larger prints plant more trees, as do collaborative works.
*Tip: Use the green search button in the top right corner of our website to look for "collaboration" prints!
Every fine art print has a drop-down menu allowing you to choose where you would like your tree(s) to be planted. You can either select a region, or select "choose for me" to leave it up to us.
If you select a region from the list, all efforts will be made to match your tree(s) to planting projects in the area, however, other locations may have a greater need. If you leave it up to us to choose, we'll pick the region we ship your print to! Either way, you can be sure your tree(s) will be matched to a deserving planter.
We donate the relevant proceeds from your print to Trees That Count. You'll receive an email from the conservation charity confirming the number of trees being planted on your behalf.
Once your trees have been matched to a restoration project, Trees That Count will let you know who they are and where the trees will be planted. This process can sometimes take weeks, so please be patient!
We make no personal profit from the sale of our artwork. All proceeds from sales directly support our fellow small Kiwi businesses (without whom we could not exist), fund the planting of native trees through Trees That Count, and contribute to monthly donations made on behalf of our small business to the Maungatautari Ecological Island Reserve, one of New Zealand’s most important and ambitious conservation projects. Your support of our small business makes this possible; we could not do this without you!
